We're at the pool a lot.
A whole lot.

It's been the most wonderful thing I've ever done. She's happy (well, not while I was doing it) and I'm utterly thrilled I don't have to do her hair ever day.

To answer your most obvious of questions:
3 1/2 - 4 hours over a 3-day period.
...there are 56 of them.
I can totally see her busting out a white-girl rap. And I thought the swim cap and snorkel gear was sexy!
I love that you did the corn rows of the bangs on the side. That definitely makes the look work.
And having a 5 year old that can't grow hair past shoulder length - I can definitely admire the length Emmy's hair has!
I'm impressed! So cute!
Holy cow wonder mom! That's awesome!
Wow. There is no way I Summer would let me "play" with her hair for so long. It looks darling!!!!
The braids are awesome! My poor daughters long hair gets so tangled in the pool water. I don't think she'd tolerate the braids for longer than a few hours...let alone sit through the braiding process.
A water baby for sure! She is ready for a trip to Jamaica!
