If you ask me, pets have their place. It just isn't in my house. Okay, I'm not that bad. We have an aquarium with a couple of fish: Joe (Bradley's fish), and The Little Mermaid [NOT Ariel] (Emmy's fish). In the past we've had a crab - Alice, and a turtle - Willy and for the most part, they've all been good experiences. Lately we've been finding animals in our yard that I would just rather stay in our yard - NOT in our house.
The other evening when Ste was hedging, this little guy introduced himself to us.
We kept Tyler overnight in our pool, but then we all felt bad for him and let him go.
Then this thing reared it's ugly head.....and ugly legs and ugly face, eyes, etc.

I'm no Mike C* but give me some credit for picking this poisonous, ravenous monster up off the ground (twice). Bradley stuck out his hand in an attempt to teach Emmy to be brave but when I tried to place the little green guy in his hands he just said, "Oh, I don't want to hold it, I just wanted to show Emmy what to do with her hands". That's my brave, big, bold, Bradley.
Yuck! That spider is disgusting! I'm glad you didn't let them keep it! It gives me the chills just to look at it!
Maybe he'll sleep at the foot of one of the kids' beds with them. Now that's a pet!
I'm with you on that one. I don't mind lizards or frogs but when it comes to snakes and spiders it's not going to happen in my house either.
Not in my house either...
Yay for cute little froggies and nasty bugs and spiders that make life so interesting! And well done Steven, for picking that monster up! And Bradley cracks me up!
Steven...you're one step away from having your own blog.
Get moving...
oh man that spider is so ugly! I don't think I would even want a picture of it! I hate spiders!! All we ever find here are bees and snails. pretty boring huh but I will take it over that ugly spider!
EEEEWwwwwww - frogs, I can handle. spiders - there is absolutely NO way.
YIKES! They are much braver than I am with spiders!
