Busy Update

Last week, like I mentioned earlier, was busy.

Monday we drove to San Antonio with Ste's parents. Dwight had never seen the Alamo. What better time to check it out - along with the River Walk - then on St. Patty's day?
We decided to check out the other missions as well. We were a little too late to go inside, but that's okay.

Tuesday, Emmy decided to try her hand and flying and jumped off our neighbor's bunkbed. The urgent care doc said, "I don't THINK I see anything." You don't think? What do you mean you don't think you see anything? Whatever. She's limping around slightly still. I'm pretty sure it's just a strain.... I think.

Wednesday we sadly bid Ruth and Dwight farewell.

Thursday I went into Lifetime Fitness and finalized my application process to become a cheer instructor for 3-6 year olds. When you stop laughing enough to catch your breath, I must admit that I'm really really excited. Mostly because I'll get a free membership (woohoo!) worth about $100 a month plus $300 worth of sign-up fees. I'll teach from 3:30 to 4:30 on Thursday afternoons. It's perfect because that is Steven's half day, so he'll be home to be with the monkeys.

Friday and Saturday nights our Stake performed an Easter program called "He Is Jesus Christ" by Rob Gardner. It's a really beautiful Easter program. Anyway, the Friday night performance was recorded for a local television network.

We made special arrangements to have the Easter Bunny come Friday night instead of Saturday night. Here are some pictures of the hunt.

Because we haven't mowed all winter, Bradley was understandably hesitant to search the weeds.

Your job sounds pretty awesome. You get "paid" about $25 an hour to cheer with some little girls. Sounds cool if you ask me.

BTW, love your hair.

Sounds like lots of things to keep you busy. Cheer instructor huh? I'd do it for the free member ship. Although I've never done any cheerleading, just cheering from the stands!

I promise I didn't even laugh about you being the cheer instructor. Your hair is so long! I love it. Happy Easter!

you have to check out this blog: http://www.themoesfamilyintexas.blogspot.com/
and see what their entry was today. My friend Krysta is from Providence and recently moved to Texas - uhm, I got the chills when I saw both of your blog entries. Both last minute trips. Too funny!

Here goes:

1) Who are you holding in your arms (as in she looks so big and nothing like last time we saw her)?
2) Why does Bradley look 14? Is he wearing a chain?
3) Why is you hair so dark? (looks good btw)
4) define cheer instructor for 3-6 year olds. I thought that is what you do at home.
5) What good is a free membership if you never go to the gym. Ahhh SUCKER! . . . booyaka, booyaka, booyaka . . . yea booooouy

I didn't realize the Easter program was on tv, how cool. I saw you singing and your family adoring you at the thursday practice. How is your daughters foot by the way? Do you need another look? So do you get paid besides the free membership to Lifetime? What a great gig, esp. since hubby is home.
