Ste went out surfing while we were there. He had such success the first day that Brian and I went out to watch the second day. I think we jinxed him. On his second ride, his ankle strap broke from his board.

People are always surprised when I describe Santa Cruz's weather like this. It's not always overcast, it's mostly in the mornings, but it definitely isn't LA-esque. Santa Cruz is in the bay area leaving it subjected to morning fog and chill and sunny, breezy afternoons.
....my ideal weather.

The first picture sort of Tom Currin looking. I love any sport that has to do with a board. Wakeboarding feels sooo very similar to surfing. Heck its inland surfing. Let get out a go. Crap invite yourself dude. Call me Dallas.
Santa Cruz is GORGEOUS. I was there for the first time in February. It was STUNNING!

That looks like a picture of Laird Hamilton.
Was Laird there and Steven was teaching Laird how to surf and Brian accidently got a picture of him instead of Steven?
