Moo

I've been pumping and freezing my milk now for 9 days (but who's counting). It's sometimes a little tedious. Here is one of the conversations that has taken place in our home because of it.

Bradley: Mom, are you done milking yet?
Me: It's called "pumping," Bradley - and, yes, I'm done.
Bradley (looking at me like I'm an idiot): Mom, they "milk" cows - they don't "pump" them.

I stand corrected.

John, it would be wise for your safety to not comment on this one.

I can totally relate after having done that for a year! Hang in there.

Don called me Elsie. There were lots of cow jokes around our house during nursing. I hate it for you.

oh girl, I remember those times...I pumped for six months with Jayden because he wouldn't nurse - stubborn little tike. the highlight was pumping in the ladies room of the JSMB during my sister's wedding - the battery opperated pump echoing through the stalls. ladies coming and going and someone says, "oh, sounds like someone's being milked!" ya - good times, that pump and me.

I'm glad you've recorded that one for history. Too, too funny.

So funny... so true! Nothing makes ya feel prettier when you're plugged up to a pump. What a cute story though. Hopefully, this will all get resolved soon!

I Want to Hear From You!
