If you don't know what REDBOX is, you live in a sad state of Blockbuster or Hollywood Video. Or maybe in a neighboring state of Netflix (which isn't as sad, but still sorta sad).
Anyway, we've enjoyed our local redboxes for a number of years now. But it seems that a lot of others are enjoying it as well. I can't tell you how much pressure I feel as I search through the lame-o titles looking for Australia or the new James Bond flick and end up coming home with the knock-off version of Kung-fu Panda called Skunk-fu because I feel so rushed and make a hasty decision! I might as well be at the bank withdrawing $1000 while 17 on-lookers judge my choice of pin numbers.
So, I ask you, please stay in your sad state of Hollywood/Blockbuster (or New Jersey) so I can feel at some peace as I look for Twilight.
I'm doubtful.

The kids took us to a Red Box while we were there for Olivia's birth. Quite an adventure for grandparents. We don't have them here, so perhaps that could be an investment for our old age. Your odds are better that Steven will take the kids on a hike while you watch Twilight... lv, mil
DId you know that you can "Reserve" them on line at redbox.com. You search for movies in your area and it will tell you where they are and if you can reserve them. Then all you do is pick them up. ( remember to take your Credit card because you still need it at pick up)
No one behind you tapping their foot, just your hubby and kids yelling at you if it is time to go yet!
Dang!!! You are quick! Hope all is well!
I love Redbox but have experienced the same frustration. So, here's what I do now: go online to redbox.com and rent online! I can get on Friday morning and usually find the exact movie I want- then you just walk up to the redbox and swipe your card and it gives you your movie. No pin numbers or anything. It doesn't work if you're using a promo code but it's worth $1 to not have to stand there searching for a movie.
Mindy!
You are living in a sad state if you don't rent redbox online first at home, and then go pick it up! They save the movie for you and you just swipe your card and look smart when your movie pops out in about 5 seconds! Try it, you'll like it!
Reserve the movie online through Redbox.com, its much faster than searching through the titles at the machine. Though I switched to netflix, something about having it stream instantly over my xbox makes me happy.
That's why I go to RedBox.com and reserve the movie I want, then you just have to swipe your card when you get to the machine and it spits your movie out.
I am not saying you are unintelligent.
I am just saying that I have no idea what you are talking about in this post. Sometimes I feel like you have a conversation in your head that you want to write about and you only type every other word. As an example, your post about running out of gas which you thought was clearly obviously sarcasm and everyone else thought y'all seriously pulled over on the side of the road as an experiment.
So do you like REDBOX or not? If you like it, then why do you come home with Skunk-fu? Why do you feel pressure to pick a title? Is it because people are waiting in line or because Livers is out running in the parking lot without supervision. (Reference my previous comment two posts ago.)
Why would 17 on-lookers judge your choice of pin numbers? Wouldn't they just try to get your 4 digit pin to take your money?
I am so confused. Now I wonder if I earned that law degree or if they just gave it to me so they wouldn't have to keep failing me.
Anyway, Steven will watch.
He is TOTALLY gay!
(Not that there is anything wrong with that)
I know, I know I can do it ahead online. I usually try to. But regarding Twilight, it's not available anywhere. So I sometimes go with a small glimmer of hope that someone has returned it in the time that I've left my home to run errands.
I'm never that lucky.
I LOVE REDBOX!!!
I rented it too. I really liked it. I thought they would find some way to screw it up, but I don't think they did.
Matt still won't watch it.
Just come to my house and watch mine with me!
