About 2 weeks ago, Steven was holding Olivia and suddenly said, "uh-oh". Uh oh? What does that mean?
Yes, it's tortuous.
I remember as Steven told me he thought he could feel teeth in her mouth, I thought, haven't you been a father enough times to know what a tooth feels like? She's only 4 months old!
FOUR MONTHS OLD!
TWO TEETH!!
BREAST FEEDING!

I will pray for you!
C'mon, tough it out. It is just breast-feeding, not surgery. Dads have to go play catch with kids who throw a little too low when their not looking. Beat that.
A few teeth while feeding?...Give me a break. I could do that with both hands tied behind my back.
Good luck. I really don't have any advice. Well, yes I do. Keep your mitt low.
Ouch. Timothy got teeth at 4 1/2 months. But he didn't bite much.
OUCH!
Just pray the top ones take a long time to come in. Maybe you will not be nursing for much longer...
Ben had 4 teeth at four months.. just be happy she doesn't have any on top. ouch. I feel for you, girl.
OUCH!!! Good luck. I cannot believe she has teeth already. What a little overachiever. Does she look like Emmy to you?
SUCK IT UP!!!
That don't hand out the title of MOM at the local WalMart. You have to earn it baby!!!
I guess as long as she doesn't get the top ones, you won't lose anything.
big huge . . . :)
Ouch! Audrey has been biting me lately, but she's still toothless. I don't think I could handle teeth. Good luck!
She takes after her daddy....I remember those months of teeth and nursing. Such good memories.
Mammal, I mean Mindy, you are doing a great job as a mom.
I could have a LOT of fun with this but most of your other readers are probably breast feeding . . . including Brian.
Alia got teeth at four months too. It's painful! They don't understand "no biting!" yet!
I see that the two comments about sucking it up and toghing it out were from men. Typical. Poor guys have no idea what they are talking about.
I am so sorry Mindy! A good little slap on the mouth may just do the trick if she bites you. Sounds horrible, I know, but that's the advice I was given and it worked like a charm with Chloe! Good luck!
I started a blog. Check it out. http://valeriandersen.blogspot.com/
Audra,
I didn't want to say this because I was trying to be nice but . . . I could handle mastitis standing on my head while watching 5 - 2 year olds.
J/K, LOL, Don't shoot the messenger!
Just for the record, the reason MIL was complaining was because Steven did breast-feed....for a long time. Trust me, he was talking in sentences when he stopped nursing. I remember him *telling* us about it. Right around the time he got his driver's license.
I think Steven could slam a couple of Dr. Peppers with one hand in between breast feedings when he was growing up.
I think the boobless boobs should lay off.
